Baby’s 1 Month Well-Child Visit & Vaccines
What to expect
Getting out and about with baby may still be challenging, but make sure you get to baby’s 1 month well–child visit! At this checkup (and each well–child visit after this one), the doctor will weigh and measure your baby to make sure they are growing at a healthy rate. Your baby will get a complete physical exam. Baby will also get a second hepatitis B shot (the first was likely given in the hospital before you came home).
Things your baby’s provider may ask about, or that you may want to bring up, include sleeping, eating, frequency of wet/dirty diapers, and anything else that concerns you.
